Schoolgirls with rifle - 1 вересня 1991 р. в Південній Осетії
Three schoolgirls go to school which is situated two kilometers away from their village, one girl carries a rifle on her shoulder, Southern Ossetia, September 1, 1991. On January 5, 1991 the government of Georgia based police sub-units and national guards in Southern Ossetia not informing the authorities. Georgian forces conducted searches, put people under arrest, carried out punitive operations in rural regions of Ossetia.
